How it works

 

Have you ever had someone ask you to turn in your man card? Maybe you did something less than “manly” and your reputation of being a “real man” was at risk. How did it make you feel to be called out on it? And what does a “real man card” look like anyway?

The Real Man Card is a daily reminder of what it means to be a “real man” according to how God has designed us. This is an accountability resource that we can carry with us to remind ourselves who we are and the life we are to lead.

Here is a simple outline of how it works:

• Open the card up to the current day of the week. There you will find the Theme for today. These words were chosen to coordinate with a typical week for most guys.
• Next, review the Focus word and Verse for the appropriate day. For example, if it’s the second Tuesday of the month, focus on the second word under Tuesday. Take time to allow God’s Word to fill your spiritual fuel tank.
• As the week progresses, keep doing the same steps listed above. Over time, using this card will give you 35 battle fighting verses that you can use in spiritual warfare for yourself, your family, and your buddies. The 35 verses will start to become a way of life. We will start living and working on the values these scriptures have for our lives, as we become Real Men of God in our families, with our friends and for ourselves.
